Pilgrim
Pictures is a small production house specialising in creating
original screen content for cinema release, TV, the web and such.
Our
areas of expertise range from scriptwriting, project development
and production, production management through to post-production
and distribution.

We
are situated in the Garden City - on a country island called Singapore
(sometimes known as the little red dot).
Our
goal is to create compelling and entertaining stories with an
Asian perspective, and to share them with the world.
In
the very near future, we also look forward to collaborations with
international partners.

Recently
divorced, Renee Donovan returns to Singapore, hoping to start life
afresh with her 6 year-old daughter. But her first assignment as
a television producer takes her back to the neighbourhood she ran
away from ten years ago. Renee struggles to complete the assignment
without revealing her true identity, but she is forced to confront
her past as her former neighbour, Teo, threatens to reveal her shameful
secrets at every turn.

Hock, a single parent, holds 2 jobs - a coffee shop assistant during
the day, and a security guard at night.

also has a hobby - collecting discards and repairing them.

day, he unwittingly makes a promise to his daughter, Min Min, to
build her a dollhouse. But time and again, he "forgets",
till Min Min takes matters into her own hands...

& Ann's Wedding . Photo/ Video Montage . 7 minutes . 2004

For their wedding, Jonathan & Ann wanted
to show photographs of their growing up years, and to end it off
with a surprise "Thank You" video for their parents.
The
couple's parents were also gung-ho enough to act in the video, although
they had no idea what it is for. The only brief they had is to dress
up in the Shanghainese period of 1940s. They finally see the completed
video - on the couple's wedding day!
